When are you looking to start?*

Why do you want to work in a group practice? (For any questions that were answered in your cover letter, feel free to copy & paste)*

Why The Psychology Group?*

Ask someone who knows you well to identify three words that best describe your personality. What words did they choose?*

What keeps you busy outside of work? What are your interests?*

Please tell us about your specialty area/niche(s). List any certifications, special experience, or any other information that informs us about your ability to work with that population(s).*

How do you help clients in your specialty area? Why would your ideal client choose to work with you over someone else?*

Because it is not always possible to control what types of clients reach out to us for services, this means that a clinician may not always work with their ideal client. How do you feel about practicing as a generalist within your scope of practice (depression, anxiety, relationship challenges)?*

Please describe your ideal work schedule and how many hours you would like to work.*

The Psychology Group (TPG) brings on therapists who can commit to working solely at TPG. We find that clinicians are more invested in our culture and mission this way. Will you be working in your own private practice or at another group practice if employed at TPG?*

Our practice is very collaborative. We focus on helping the community by way of marketing, networking, and providing community speaking engagements. What are your thoughts on this?*

Private practice is contingent on making ideal clients aware of you and your services and marketing is how we achieve that. Tell us how you feel about being marketed and regularly producing marketing content such as blog posts, social media posts, and video?*

Private pay clients have a lot of choices when it comes to deciding which therapist they want to work with. We help clients get matched to the right therapist by offering complimentary 15-minute phone consultations. During the phone consultation, therapists must quickly understand the presenting issue and confidently convey how they can help. Our goal is for 90+% of phone consults to schedule an appointment with you (assuming they are qualified and the issue is within your scope of practice). This can sometimes feel like you are “selling yourself.” What might that be like for you?*

Our clinicians are able to work independently while following company protocols. Do you feel comfortable working independently and being able to follow through on scheduling your existing clients, collecting payment, navigating an EHR, completing documentation the same day of service, responding to emails/voicemails quickly, and staying organized?*

Do you believe it’s important to start and end therapy sessions on time? If so, why? What’s your strategy for starting/ending therapy sessions on time?*

If you were invited to join our team, what are some things that would make this your DREAM job?*

Our practice is dedicated to principles of cultural humility, inclusion, equity, anti-racism, and anti-oppression. Please tell us if you believe these principles are important and, if so, how you practice them in your personal and professional interactions.*

What are you currently reading or listening to that is helping you grow?

Two years from now, if everything exceeded your most optimistic expectations, what would your life look like? How about in 5 years?*

Do you have an interest in starting your own private practice? Why or why not? If yes, what are your plans?*
